Over the past few days I've been wanting to try play Pokemon but when I start, I begin to lose interest, I've tried with multiple gens but nothing seems to keep me from turning off the game after a few minutes. Is there any advice from here? I don't want to stop liking Pokemon.

Pretty much grew up with the franchise, though gen 3 was where I really began to love the series, I guess a problem always has been that I never really got into competitive battle (I was always too retarded to understand IVs and EVs until SU holds your hand on the topic) so it's always been hard to find what to do postgame. But lately I've just found myself bored after a while regardless of which game

I take a lot of huge breaks from Pokemon, and then feverishly play through a game or two before taking another huge break. It's a good way to keep the hype up. I'd say just put it down and play again in a couple months, when you get the itch again.

Failing that, try a Nuzlocke or maybe some romhacks. Just branch out. Don't put so much pressure on yourself over a monster-catching game series. It's fine, anon.
