If you play pokemon casually and only want to get the best version of the game get USUM. If you really like pokemon SM is different enough to make it worth a playthrough.

I'm playing Ruby and Sapphire and while Emerald makes them almost obsolete they are different enough to make them enjoyable to play.

Anyway, I'm so fucking disappointing of how small Alola is, one would think later games would have bigger regions but Alola is a fucking joke only bigger than Kanto and even then Kanto has bigger routes and dungeons but it doesn't stop there all the cities and towns in Alola are shit too that's surprising because there almost no towns, hell even Celadon city is bigger than all of Alola's cities except Aether foundation if that one counts

The standard has been set for what? BW2 objectively have the most new content out of all second wave games for any gen.
USUM look more like Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum split into two games than BW2.
