Skarmory was the first shiny I ever hatched back in Pokemon X when the game was new.

Kind of an underwhelming shiny, but it had a perfect IV in defense so I used that for my competitive team.

It's easier to tell in spirites, but Skarmory's 3D model makes it almost impossible to see the green wings, and his tint feels off (the same problem a lot of Pokemon in general have with their 3DS models, like Charmeleon)

I've always liked it to an extent but I've been liking it even more recently after realizing it forms a great defensive core with Volt Absorb Lanturn while working on a Karenfag team. Then again any Water/Ground works great with it in that regard.
