Yes, at Gamesweek in Milan. On the 29th, at 4pm, they will show a demo gameplay and it will include a live battle with Ohmori/Iwao.
They will also be there at some booth from 2-3pm for random stuff and then theyll also be there to sign authographs and whatnot on october 1st.
Whoever's going there should bug them about new pokemon/alolan forms/battle facility etc like lastime someone gave Masuda a pic of the leaked starters and asked if they are real..the answer vaguely implied they are
