I love Sudowoodo in its concept. It resists all of Grass's weaknesses, and is weak to all of Grass's resistances. Of course mose people already know it's a Rock type, but when you first find that out it's quite fascinating.

It could stay a Pure Rock-type, or something. Maybe it could be Bug instead and be that living rock mentioned before. Maybe a Fire type, idk. A Fire-type with Water Absorb. Why not?

The best way to do a sudowoodo regional variant is one that looks like something totally different but is still rock-type. Like in >>33667802

I don't know if the joke would be better if everything about it stayed exactly the same, from stats to ability to learnset, or if it would be nice to see him get some non-type-based modifications.

I feel like in the case of that pic, it should be a Grass type. Resembling Corsola would imply its Rock type anyway, so making it an actual plant would be a twist.

I like that little backstory one anon made up for it. Something along the lines of a sailor coming back from Sinnoh with a Bonsly thinking it was a potted plant. When his wife waters it it escapes into the wild and later evolves.
