asteroid comes to earth, Arceus doesn't even intervene to stop the asteroid, only Rayquaza can destroy it, and ONLY if it becomes Mega, if you don't use the stone, then Rayquaza would not even survive the impact.

here is a scary thought... what if in a distant timeline the Asteroid actually hit the planet?, would not even Xerneas the pokemon of LIFE survive the impact?

This hurts the most. No one is playing Sun/Moon at all, all the fun in-game leagues and such have died out.

In the town where I used to live we held a local league that was fairly big, I don't live there for years but checking their website the league hasn't had any activity since ORAS and seemingly died. None of the forums I go to are active. Some anons told me "everyone uses Discord now", so I joined a few huge discords, but besides the retarded gay color spam and rank elitism all I could find was Showdown matches, no one played the actual games there either.

i remember 2010-2011. wifi chat on serebii had like 150 people. now only 5-6 people there. i think some has to do with wireless battling all over world. people dont need to find anybody to battle by talking just random. but sun and moon were shit with festival plaza.

They're not really guardians, the humans in-universe just call them that. Good example, Tapu's literally cause more damage than help out Alola, the Gen 5 musketeers only like pokemon and don't help humans, the birds are just birds, the beasts are just beasts, except maybe suicune who knows, Fug does nothing until you wake him up, lake guardians just sleep most of the time or get captured, and so on.

I wouldn't mind seeing a pokemon game where you just simply go out to get pokemon and badges while stopping criminals.
Solving puzzles or dilemmas occurring in local towns/area.
No philosophical whatislife, ecoterrorism.
Explore remote areas to find legendaries, no involvement with the main adventure.

I'll never understand this. You'd think that the Kahunas would get together and say, "let's stop these little shits from causing so much destruction and capture them already." I get it that they are supposed to be guardians and symbols of Alola, but that's the equivalent of making Godzilla into the protector of Japan. This, it jumped the shark when the plot went from "trainer stops criminal gang's schemes" to "trainer stops massive, world-altering scheme". I personally think Gen 3 counts but if you think it doesn't for whatever reason then Gen 4 certainly does. Gen 5 tries to rein it in by having a plan that effects society in non-tangible ways but it's still something that would have had global consequences like every gen after 2.
