>>33670931That was the best period, so comfy, wonder trading and battling/trading with the PSS was a blast knowing everyone was working under the same rules and progression as you. Made Pokemon feel like a social RPG again with actual progression that people couldn't just hack to skip.
Nintendo seems pretty hardcore about keeping the Switch secure this time, but too bad Pokemon Bank prevents Game Freak from ever rebooting the series like gen 3 did and cutting off previous gen transfers, so hacking can never be permanently stopped, at best they'll stop it in terms of new Pokemon and current gen emblem Pokemon (which would still be good, as that emblem would be proof of legitimacy and bar hack Pokemon from entering official competitions, but not ideal)
>>33668970If it works, it's fine. There's no use worrying about details like this when most people just downright hack Pokemon into existence.
In the current state of the game and series, it's useless to care because it's blown wide open already. Make sure it feels good to you and that your Pokemon passes as legal and you're fine, anything else is personal preference.
In the interest of saving time I recommend installing PKSM and using its bank which is much easier and pairs very well with JKSM.
