Simply being popular or good isn't a valid reason, but those qualities often come along with a bunch of other undesirable qualities, like those mentioned in the pic. I don't dislike Landorus-T because it's good in competitive, I dislike it because I have to play against it in every other fucking battle, and I'm sick of seeing it. I don't hate Decidueye because it's popular, I hate it because the people who like it won't shut the fuck up about it. I actually think the designs of both of these Pokemon are pretty good, even above average, but mentions of them leave a bad taste in my mouth for other reasons. There are plenty of good and popular Pokemon, like Gengar, that don't have this effect, and I do totally enjoy.
