>>33674210You back up to just the right distance and wait for them to do that vine grab thing (you watch their character, not yours, I made that mistake). Then use your heavy-forward (or whatever your best distance attack is) and kick him into a combo.
He'll get up, get some space, jump, fire some seeds to try and force you into his grabbing sweetspot and let you do it again too.
