I don't want voice acting the way you want it.
Just in a 3D Zelda type way filled with cadences and monosyllabic sounds. The occasional vocal song or voice samples littering a track but that's pretty much it.

Immediately drop the franchise forever. Same thing if Ash shows up in the games.

Ash's Greninja is one of the biggest reasons I hate gen 7.

the japanese pokemon creature voices are just as bad, a decent percent of them is voiced by the same seiyuu as the Professor Oak/Narrator and they sound like some drill sergeant.

TCPI doesn't do voice acting well, even Generations was iffy and they had a lot of great VAs in LA working on it.

If they let someone else handle the casting and direction maybe.

Until then it's more fun to have your own headcanon voices.
