There's a lot of build-up to make the UB invasion seem catastrophic but it turns out to be a completely inconsequential. A dud. Nothing ever comes out of it except Hapu mentions it in passing in one isolated sentence.
You don't even see Type: Null, the artificial Pokémon created specifically to combat UBs, battle or interact with an UB in any way. It's laughably bad writing.
