ITT: rate the gens from best to worst in your opinion and say something that you actually did like from the ones you dislike

>V > 2 > 7 > 6 > 1 > 3 > 4

I only really dislike gens 3 and 4. However, I think that the addition of abilities, natures, the modern IV system, the phys/spec split, and the continuity they started back up again to let us transfer all our mons to future games were all good qol improvements and benefit the series as a whole, and while I dislike many of the Pokémon introduced in these gens, they still have some of my favorites that I like to this day, like Exploud or Toxicroak. Also HGSS is in the top three best Pokémon games of all time, so gen 4 is not all bad by any stretch of the imagination.
