You can change one thing about Meganium to make it 5 times better. It could be it's typing, learnset, or ability. What about it would you change?

Meganium is my #1 Favorite Pokemon. I've been saying for years that all game freak has to do is get rid of Leaf Guard and replace it with Friend Guard. It's good, makes sense, and makes my partner since the age of 4 viable.

all these suggestions are shit, give it flower veil. You can run SD, synthesis, petal blizzard, and earthquake and mow down stall because your stats can't be lowered, you heal off things like seismic toss with synthesis, and you can't be statused. The only problem is flying/levitating steel types, but that's what magnezone is for. You could even run natural gift watmel berry for a 100 bp fire type attack if you don't like magnezone.
It'd be way better.

Or maybe have it or its Mega be Grass/Fire.
Maybe I just associate fire with it out of nostalgia of it being the first bulky sunny day + solar beam...
But that's what I think of Meganium: a fire flower dinosaur.
