You know what I really enjoy? When gamefreak is more creative with the coloring of the elemental pokemon. Here's some examples in the OP. Electrode isn't yellow, Weavile is an ice type that isn't light blue, Cyndaquil is one of the only fire types that isn't red/orange and Ribombee is actually the only non-legendary fairy type pokemon created AFTER the type was introduced that isn't pink.
I would like to be able to look at a pokemon for the first time and not immediately know if it's a fire, electric, etc type. In the palette swap threads there are some Galvantulas that don't have any yellow on them and it makes them look better, and more interesting in my opinion.
One more thing, I know some people are getting tired of the old water/fire/grass starter trio, but I don't think Gamefreak would ever do anything else because they are lazy and dislike innovation. I do think it would be nice though to have some starters that are not blue, red, and green though. What do you think?
