>>33687913I disagree, I feel third versions are the only ones worth buying. I generally wait until the third version is released before I play a game, though that meant I jumped onto XY late when Z ended up never being a thing. At least that was after piracy became easy on 3DS so I didn't have to pay for it.
In general though, you should always wait the year or two it takes for an updated rerelease because they always improve the base product, except seemingly in USM where it looks just as bad as SM in every way.
