No they won't. GF releases remakes only when a new generation of console is available. That is why B2W2 and USUM exist--a new console won't be released for another few years, so GF releases a sequel, or a third version to pass the time.

HGSS - DS
ORAS - 3DS
DP remake - Switch? Or something else?

The 3DS being around for a while now doesn't mean anything. If GF was to release a DP remake, it would have already been announced instead of USUM.

This is the same reason ORAS wasn't released after BW in gen5; they waited for a new console, so instead released B2W2.

The DP remake will be released on either the Switch, or a soon-to-be announced hand-held console. I believe the Switch is way more likely.

I am pretty sure we'll see Sinnoh remakes next year on 3ds.

How can you be this delusional? The Switch IS the current handheld console, it just has detachable controls and HDMI-out.
Game Freak have LITERALLY announced that they're working on a core Pokemon game for the Switch, which they wouldn't fucking do if they had a "soon-to-be-announced" handheld coming.
