They have to show something big soon, they know people are really dissapointed with usm. As a side note, they should have atleast showed dawn lycanroc(website shows we their are still 2 froms, might be totems but idk) or a new z-move.

if this was a new gen they would have to get us hyped, but this is a third version OP, they expect low sales, they expected low sales with crystal, emerald and platinum, and they got low sales with them

no, pokemon wont go bankrupt if usum don't sell

no, they wont take a hint on the quality decline if usum doesn't sell

usum is a win/win situation for gamefreak no matter how hard you try

Elaborate on "Big". If you think for examplefew alola forms will save the games then i highly doubt it. Just like many people see SM as poor games despite new mons/forms.

They need to show major features that scream "effort". Big (Frontier) or attractive (PWT) battle facility (or any new idea for it). Some more side or post game missions, some eciting new areas, more new characters and/or old returns (PWT would cover this), more minigames. Etc

Im not sure if its a facility in the same meaning like Battle Tower or PWT.

To me it looks more like a throwback place, maybe for training or just as a showcase how gyms work in other regions

Keep in mind that Ryuki is in the midde of the room and you meet him there. That usually dont happen in battle facilities.

Another thing is that they showed it in august, in one of the first trailers. Usually they save post game stuff for late promotion (final month so its likely its main game (meeting Ryuki there would confirm that - there's no point keeping him for post game again)

That could possibly be a facility that focused on Z-Move typed battles. There's also another photo wallpaper that showcased an emblem/logo that closely resembles to the PWT logo in BW2.
