Not awful, but not great. Pokemon is better in most ways.

I've played through both with 160+ hours in BS, they're really good. I don't know how a quality game with large maps with lots of detail, a ton of side content and post game, actual difficulty, great graphics and models, and an actual story with genuine humor is a cashgrab.
