I want the game remade because I would like to relive the region in a different light, HGSS and ORAS had that (even if I didn't care for the latter, it was different from the original) and people such as myself would like to see that happen for Sinnoh, a new experience can be gained from a reimagining, and I would like to see some aspects of the game approached differently, whether it be for the better or worst. It's fine to agree to disagree, and it's understandably strange to want something while expecting it to approach things in lesser manner (if ORAS is anything to go by) but remakes can still be new experiences depending on the player, and new experiences are inherently fun in my eyes.
A new game + lore connecting remake is a good combo versus expecting both teams to oversaturate the market with "new" content, and it's pointless to expect such a thing when GameFreak has made it clear that we're reaching mass levels of new Pokemon + formes.
