I'm barely hanging onto hope as it is with these shitty trailers and shilling of the lycanroc,
However the two new UB trailer is what caught my interest, this is their last month to show us something worth buying.

I mean, we've never had actual new pokemon added mid-gen before, so shouldn't you be more excited for that than for the inclusion of new alolamons?

That being said, I would be very VERY surprised if there were no new alolamons at all.

Not gonna lie, I am intrigued with any possibilities these new UBs bring but the salient thing is that the introduction of these Pokemon could mean more new Pokemon.

That being said, while I enjoy Burst and Assembly having the 'otherworldliness' indicative of UBs (and I appreciate them on that level) but I think the new UB's are ugly as shit. I only 'want' them for dex completion but I really don't give a shit about their designs or competitive potential. They are dex filler and nothing more to me. I'm simply not very interested in them

Opinions on the currently revealed new pokes are one thing, but don't forget that this also sets a precedent for the future. Maybe getting a slew of new mons every single game instead of every gen will become the new norm? I know there are plenty that dislike new pokes getting piled on every year, but it's what keeps me coming back.

Mate, there's nothing I love more than a new Pokemon. I keep buying the new games because I love the new mons, I'd love gen 8 to be huge, like gen 5 huge.

But I agree that this is an interesting development, hopefully GF sticks with it in the future.

The fact that they waited until September to reveal that there are new UBs shows they aren't trying to get out all the good stuff early. It'd also be weird for them to make brand new Pokemon but not a few alternate forms that take less effort. The next few weeks will be interesting

You guys are fucking stupid if you think getting new UBs means we can get mid-gen Pokémon in the future. It's like you're too stupid or blind to notice that these UBs are the very reason why SM didn't have a National Dex to begin with, which is exactly why they can introduce Pokémon this mid-gen. If we're ever to get Pokémon mid-gen again, we'd know beforehand because the first games in said gen would also lack a National Dex.

If they'll reveal alola forms the entire thing will cover the emptiness of these games. I care more about substantial gameply additions, not 3-5 new forms that i'll probably wont even use

What does the Natdex have to do with anything? You realise Pokebank still has one right? All the alola mons have official natdex numbers, so regardless of what happens the new UBs will be after Necrozma.

You need to keep in mind how they're prolonging every mon-form reveal in this campaign

Necrozma forms were revealed in June. It took them over 3 months to properly introduce them and tell us what they even are in the middle of September

Lycanroc Dusk was revealed in early August, then promoted in the worlds trailer (mid August), now they needed another month to give us its Z-move, prolonging its promo even longer till mid September

Now new UBs were revealed last month. Without any artwork or summary on the official site. Even though they did this for SM UB's before we even knew what UB's are about. That means they will promote them more this month

Seeing all of this makes you realize that evn if there are new alola forms there's only very few of them. Otherwise GF wouldnt prolong other reveals so much
