>>33712977Lance's Dragonite and Altaria gave me cancer, it was like playing ELO hell on Showdown.
What the fuck, seriously...the classic mixed Dragonite was much better and Altaria could have still been Aerodactyl or anything else from Lapras to Tyranitar. Assuming Kingdra was reserved for Clair.
Blue in FRLG is surprisingly okay and not total trash like in Gen 1, probs for fixing.
Also nice to see classic characters switching their teams through games, at least shows they have captured more than six mons.
Steven Stone isn't hard at all but it was much better bac then compared to the retarded changes the rematch in ORAS had. Special Aggron is still a total embarassing tool.
Platinum's Cynthia is still the best team version of hers, in BW2 she had some shitmons from Unova and her Double Team Spiritomb was a pain in the ass but still not improved, never noticed Togekiss had Hustle, this things manages to always hit my mons and I assume whenever Air Slash misses is it because it wasn't 100acc.
Who is Alder?
Great, let's give the perfect blood moth Quiver Dance and make it pretty much his whole one man team, then let's add recharging turns and harsh Sp Atk drops, will totally work in a region where Jellicent is a common pick.
Diantha barely looks like a Champion at all.
Team is like a last minute mess.
The Mega Gardevoir is an absolute joke, why even bother shilling the new Fairy type when this thing gets literally walled by any Dark type Pokemon of any level. It can get Toxic stalled by a just evolved Pangoro or Poochyena.
Kukui is well executed like Blue and Cynthia, offensive, lacks some coverage however and that Braviary is debatable. Also depends on your starter. Alolan starters are almost Johto and Unova tier fillers (uneless they don't get significan buffs as I expect baracat to get from tutors, already gets nothing useful from TMs and even breeding).
Iris is okay, but it depends on the game difficulty, technically Normal Mode would be considered canon.
