>>33714298>The musicPeople shit on the soundtrack but jesus christ it's miles better than the bleep bloop and trumpets shit that is Gen 3's soundfront. I almost came in my pants when I heard the Aqua/Magma leader battle theme for the first time. So good. I also love how some tracks have their original versions incorporated for short bursts.
>The characters Lots of minor, irrelevant characters received some personality and were fleshed out a little bit. Particularly Team Aqua/Magma.
>The Delta Episode Yeah, it was just a glorified fetch quest, but the conclusion of it was one of the most hype moments in the series to date. It's up there with the Sinjoh Ruins event imo.
>The Mauville revamp Why the fuck did people complain about this? It's supposed to be the hub city of Hoenn yet it's like 1.5 screens large in the original with a handful of buildings. By far an improvement.
>Dexnav+sneaking These are the kind of things that should have become staple features. It's a shame they didn't.
>Soaring Man, this was fucking cool even if it was a bit limited. Wish they'd flesh it out someday.
Overall, OR/AS is good because it's more than just a 1:1 remake. It's not a perfect game, and it's a little light on content for a remake, but the people on /vp/ who complain about it like it's unsalvageable garbage aren't worth listening to. It's a decent game, and certainly better than R/S/E. The Battle Frontier is overrated as fuck.
