Because the suit probably only is necessary if you live there all your live, the player was born in our dimension with Sunlight and Moonlight being present. He won't die from a little darkness. The suits are not for air, as you can breath in Nihilegos Ultra Space just fine in SM

I also have a theory why the dimension is eternally dark. That's because this was originally the home dimension of Solgaleo, Lunala and Necorzma, but Necrozma became addicted to their light, chases them and tries to absorb them, so they try to procreate and this results in Nebby, they can just send him trough a Ultra Wormhole to Alola, but Solgaleo and Lunala maybe die by Necrozma. It's either like that or it has to do with the time when Ultra Beasts first appeared in ancient times

Probably just an ultra space, which like the one in SM will basically be a corridor with a circle at the end.

These games have no exploration whatsoever.

You can see blockades on the sides in OP's pic, the signs point to places that you can't explore, which is basically Alola as a whole.
The other pic that's rumored to be Kartana's ultra space is also the same boring corridor + circle layout.

I don't see anything to prove these games will in any way fix SM's lack of any sizable dungeons or areas at all, which is a huge problem with Alola.

These aren't even new games, they're an enhanced version of a shitpile everyone here played already, and there are no signs of anything improving the Alola region at all. In fact, there are pics like the ones posted here and the trailer being story-focused that suggest they are doubling down on the same designs.
