I personally prefer to play exclusively pre synchro with friends; it's has more of a nostalgic feel, and it's the game we grew up with.
Of course it has to change. MTG is only as old as it is because of their constant updating so it doesn't get stale.
I just would like it if Yugioh took a leaf out of their book and ran two separate formats.
