>>33727438We technically did get more on AZ and the war story. It's hidden in an area you have to stumble into by chance and no one ever tells you it's there, and the one time you are supposed to go there in the postgame it's replaced by Xerosic's logs, but they did add it.
>3,000 years ago Kalos was a divided land of warring people>AZ appears with the knowledge and power to engineer incredible technology >Through this technology he unites Kalos and becomes the first king>Leads Kalos into an age of prosperity and growth>Other countries become incredibly jealous and greedy>They declare war>AZ's Floette gets sent to the front lines>He goes insane when he sees her coffin, declares that without Floette no other pokemon has any meaning to him >Builds the resurrection machine for Floette, then converts it into the Ultimate Weapon, you know the rest>After the fallout he goes into exile, taking the key with him>AZ's younger brother, who was amassing an army to overthrow him and take Kalos for himself, realizes the error of his ways and instead buries the weapon and leaves knowledge of it's location to his progeny I would have loved a Z to expand on this but for what we got, it isn't that bad.
