So I guess the "gimmick" of Buzzwole's space is that life there evolved into enormous sizes with lanscapes filled with giant plants, hence the giant buff mosquito. Neat.

but anon that's Ultraspace not alola and that's why it looks more visually interesting, Alola aside from a few places like Po and the Red oricorio field didn't offer much at least for me in terms of atmosphere

At this point i'd rather just have a Pokemon game based mainly around the Ultraspace then Alola instead of the other way around t-bh

because you're on the Pokemon board. Every game is mostly generic hallways with random encounters on them, especially the areas Legendaries are in. You can't shit on new games for doing the exact same fucking thing as all the old games in the series.

The legendary rooms I'll give you, although even the distortion world was more extensive and interesting than the Ultra space area we got in SM, but earlier games int he series had plenty of routes like 119 here- multiples split paths, tons of hidden goodies, different kinds of terrain and elevation, houses, buildings, bike paths, secret base spots, etc

Ok it's true that 119 is the best and there aren't any that entirely stand up to it but there are plenty of routes that follow this kind of design style a lot closer than the majority of the areas in SM. Looking at a map of kanto and Johto I'll admit Kanto was a lot more hallwayish than I remember, but Johto has a good few routes that have some organic complexity going on.

I have no problem with revisiting them.
You can clearly use the cover legendaries like Lati@s in ORAS. Pretty sure they can have daily events involving the UBs.
