Throw in the ability to choose the stage the way we can choose the music, and we're pretty well set.
That way they're accessible to everyone right from the start (which sidesteps the "mobile games give kids short attention spans" thing), and there's no cheating AI.
Give out Battle Points, and keep the Battle Tree for the in-game version, but with the same variety of rulesets.
