UB Sticky/Adhesive honestly looks like it should be part Psychic. I love this lil fella but the mono poison type is really boring, also because we just got the first poison legend that isn't arceus and it was an unique type combination being the first Rock/Poison

I don’t necessarily see it becoming poison/psychic... but I’m pretty sure it’ll evolve, and with that it could easily gain another type.

There's a chance, it was shown fighting against a Dartrix in what seems like Paniola town/ranch, so I doubt it is as strong as the other UBs.

Because it's small, fought early, has several psychic type traits without the attached type, and the fact that several legendaries this gen have been part of evolutionary families, it's a reasonable prediction.
We'll see how it turns out in the coming weeks.

I always like it when a Pokemon gets a non-traditional design for its type. Every other poison type is a venomous animal, living pollution, or toxic plant. Seeing a thing that shoots toxic adhesive is a nice change from the usual.

i don't see it, expecially since you also fight Nihilego pretty early in the game, just because it has legendary BST doesn't mean it's unbalanced to fight ingame expecially since it's probably going to have crappy early moves anyway

I really hope i'm wrong though and if it evolves it doesn't become an ugly fuck

it's framed as part of an evil team encounter rather than a midboss like the Nihilego was

Atleast 3 people forgot about Nihilego earlier so just take it as people forgot the whole SM story line. I believe Nihilego was 25 when it was first fought as well.

This is why I suspect it to evolve at least once.
I see it as the new Grimer/Zubat/Rattata of the “evil” “team”.
First they throw the first stage at you, then late in the game they’re using the evolved one.
