Anyone, like OP for example, has easy access to them and can use them as they see fit. So it's not like the purchaser really gets anything out of it aside from the right to say "this belongs to me now," which isn't really worth anything at all. I mean, artist didn't even take the "sold" ones off the sheet, or try to hide them or anything.
You're right that something is worth whatever the buyer will pay, but anon is confused as to why someone would bother paying in the first place.
