Corrosion now hits steel types and give her a buff to both speed and special attack that is large enough to make a difference but not too much to make that buff less bullshit. In otherwords I guess that means giving her mega which is fine since I would enjoy new megas. A buff to her defenses is pointless due to that ground weekness unless both stats get a big enough buff to deal with everything else. That and realistically GF's stat buffs are usually only one stat anyway.

Yes, but you're also advising for a fire type mon to recover health from water type moves. Every Pokemon that's had Dry Skin so far has had typing either neutral to or resisting water.

Swap oblivious for unaware giving us our first offensive variant of it.
Give it some better coverage since fire and poison are massively fucking redundant as a combo. Ideally some type that hits rock SE but fucking anything would work.
Give it 10 more in HP/Def/Spd so it can actually use its ridiculous defensive typing to switch into resisted hits without dying.

Without changing salazzles gimmick I'd just buff corrosion to where poison moves hit steel, not just poison them. More moves and a higher special stat.

Salazzle's typing is FAR from stellar defensively. It's weak to Stealth Rock and has a 4x weakness to Earthquake, one of the most common physical moves in the meta.
