Why does my screen get slightly brighter when I talk to an NPC? It also happens the further center of a room I go into.

I first noticed it in Rowan's lab. If you walk up to him and talk to him, the screen doesn't change brightness, but if you walk down and talk to his one assistant, the screen will get brighter. It's bizarre.

I just talked to everyone in there, I didn't notice any difference.

It may just be the pure white text boxes playing tricks on your eyes when they pop up.

I am 100% positive the screen is getting brighter or the colors are saturating. Even if that were the case, it wouldn't explain the game getting brighter the further up I walk in a room.

All my copies are official and it does the same thing. Happens in Sun for me too. Starting to think it's how the 3DS/2DS displays colour, nothing to worry about friendo :-)

Yeah, I don't know about that. I just booted up Sun myself and I'm not having the issue there, only in Platinum does it happen.
