I've always wondered if anthropomorphic Pokemon are GF's way of pandering to the furry-loving side of Pokemon's fanbase.

Generations passed by and the number of these Pokemon have increased. Look at gen 1, I'd argue it has no furrbait Pokemon. Did GF realize that certain fans have this kind of fetish so they churned out furrbait designs every new gen?

I mean, I am not judging the furries. They're still humans after all, but on a personal level, I really don't like humanoid Pokemon and wish that GF tones it down a little bit after gen 7 being a waifumon factory. :/

Are they deliberately doing this or not? What do you guys think?
