The 3D games themselves say they are a not canon. Consider them a spinoff of sorts. So don't worry about Fairies or Megas or Z-Moves. They're not canon.

The GB games are also not canon.

Because you can only trade from Gen 1/Gen 2 to Gen 7, a non-canon game. And FRLG and HGSS make them non-canon, too. Just to top it all off.

ORAS is set in another dimension like every remake is. In XY is said that megaevolution occurs in Kalos only. In ORAS (in a timeline that was supposed to happen way before the XY storyline) we got random megaevolutions because it was another universe. Mainline games are canon while remakes of every sort aren'ts: simple.

Anon you're using the concept of canon very loosely. The whole point of ORAS is that EVERY game is canon. Even when a game is remade, the original games still happened. Its called a multiverse, only braindead morons like yourself are too stupid to understand the simple concept of alt dimensions.
