I really dislike how Gamefreak does gimmickmons like babies and megas only to completely abandon the concept in future gens.

I know it would be a colossal waste of Dex space to make more babies, but just don't do stupid shit in the first place to move a few more units of merchandise

Electabuzz doesn't need any egg moves, because his Special is way higher. He's also a fast screen setter. He's fun to use and an underrated Electric type that people don't see coming.

Elekid can have all elemental punches.
Magby learns thunderpunch.
Smoochum learns Psychic lv 37.
Teach Shadow ball to either Cleffa/Igglybuff. Metronome is also fun to use, but it only learn by egg move. Return is always a good move.
Pichu is hard to use.
