Nintendo should have removed Jynx from the games entirely and provided reparations to the African American community. Making a racist stereotype pokemon is unacceptable.

Yes.

1. All got babies in Gen II

2. All are humanshape.

3. All are next to each other in the pokedex.

4. All learn one of the elemental punches corresponding to their type.

5. Match up with the other Fire/Electric/Ice Trios (Legendary Birds, Legendary Beasts)

There probably weren't made to be "rivals", but they were definitely a set until Jynx's controversy had it shelved

I'm pretty sure Magmar and Electabuzz are a duo, Jynx was never a part of it, dex position and getting a pre-evo at the same time doesn't mean they're a trio, Jynx is also duel type, Magmar and Electabuzz aren't.

Jynx is dual-typed unlike the other two and its Japanese name doesn't fit. Magmar and Electabuzz are called Boober and Eleboo, respectively. Jynx is called Rougela.

you're ignoring the fact that they are ice, electric, and fire (almost like counterparts to the legendary birds), are all humanoid in appearance, and also not just have baby forms that are next to each other in the dex but all evolve at the same level and were introduced in the same gen. they were clearly meant to be a trio

She just needs a bit more speed to keep up with the powercreep and a decent chunk of physical bulk, her movepool is decent enough already. She wouldn't be OU after these changes since her typing is still a defensive trainwreck but she'd be able to at least be a decent offensive ice type.

Jynx was never really a rival to Magmar and Electabuzz. Being next to each other on the pokedex and the Ice/Fire/Electric trio thing were the only thing that really connected them in Gen 1. Them all getting a baby prevo is something, but plenty of other mons got babys as well.
Is anything, Mr. Mime seems like a more fitting rival
