because if I preordered I would be able to pick it up from the store I preordered from only, while sitting back and doing nothing lets me scout my city's stores as early as 3 days before, and I can head to the one that has them earlier

Because I don't know what all version exclusives are yet. And if that autistic inverted time mechanic is implemented in Ultra Moon too, then it's definitely off limits for me.

SM as a base was my least favorite Pokemon game. Some of the new additions look interesting, but this isn't enough for me to buy the game a second time.

Though I might've considered buying a sequel instead of a re-release, since I liked the characters and story enough.

The first game was underwhelming. Took me over a year to beat it. Haven't even touched the "post game," as last time I started it up, I woke up in my house and people started blathering again. Fuck cutscenes.

I injected Crystal into the Silver VC release and have been playing that. Much more fun. Pokemon without the bullshit.

Anyways, I'll probably pirate it. Pokemon is Pokemon, after all. and obviously I'm a turbo fan. but GF doesn't deserve money for lazy shit. I say this after I payed for the first, and have bought every game up until BW2 (I can easily pirate anything but choose to support devs when they earn it).

Fuck GF. Fuck their lack of post game. FUCK CUT SCENES.

Interest in the games for me at the moment is minimal at best. This Z-move trash gimmick didn't sit well with me in SM, and it sits even worse with me now for USUM.

I'm actually thinking of skipping the first games next generation so I don't waste money on a severely watered-down version of the full game. Sure, I enjoyed the story elements of SM, but USUM makes me feel like I've wasted the time and money spent.

If being unpredictable is what GF are trying to do, they're failing. Because I'm starting to see a case of Activisionitis.

This is why I stick to physical. I'm gonna sell my Moon version once Ultra Moon drops.That way I can justify the costs of what is essentially DLC on a cart.
