I know gen II is live in the game. You know what I mean : normalfags don't give a shit, they barely even acknowledge gen II mons. Don't even THINK about gen III, IV, V, VI, VII.
I'm okay with people being stupidly cringy when it comes to the franchise. I like it on some level, showing appreciation for the same characters, the same world that I do. But as soon as I see them talking about anything gen I related, or god fucking forbid pikachu (as if they literally didn't know anyone else), it fucking enrages me.
And that's the true tragedy of the game : imagine if it launched with all current gens at once. Imagine people discovering, and appreciating some of the new pokemon introduced over the years, and truly loving the franchise as a whole. I would've liked to see that.
