I really dislike Vanilluxe, I would have preferred to either see something different or see the line end with Vanillish.

They're all cute with a little lifeless eeriness but while I like the slow progression throughout the line, Vanillish is a little bit unnecessary. 9/10

Cute, but not a big fan. I just don't like James Turner's designs much, even if conceptually they're fine. Should have been a two-stage line, if not just a singular monster. I also would prefer Vanillite more as a rare catch, I hated how there were hoards of them in the icy part of Kalos.

I like all three. Vanillite is cute, Vanillish is an awkward stage but I like it anyway, and Vanilluxe looks neat and I always liked the polycephaly-style evolutions (and it validates Vanillish more by being just a polychephalic evolution, imo.)

Plus Vanilluxe has a randomly high BST, with decent stats all around. It being an Ice-type means it can't properly utilize its bulk, and its movepool means it can't properly utilize stuff like its attack, but still. It's still pretty neat though, being able to run stuff like Autotomize, iirc.

Vanillite looks significantly different from its evolutions fuckface.
Vanillish is just barely passable, but the thing with Vanilluxe is that every change is for the worse. Now it has two heads for no reason, no it has a smiley on its back for no reason, no it has a fucking straw for no reason.
