I expect a huge emphasis on online and local play

With how massive Pokemon go was. How big splatoon is in Japan. Social interactions is what I'm guessing the route they will go

My fondest with pokemon was playing red and blue with kids in my school with link cables. Pokemon is social interaction game. That's what makes it different than other rpgs

I want a game for the Switch which is not too linear, and I don't think GF will ever do it, but it would be fun if you could do a multiplayer with a nearby friend, and go through the game doing double battles with them.
