Alolan forms and battle facility are the two big things. I hope one gets mentioned this month and the other next month before it comes out.

Given that the story is actually important this time, it's cool that they are devoting time to promote it.
I actually think that there will still be new Alolan forms and a slight change at least to the Battle thing.
Maybe some tutors as well

I think it's fair to assume there'll be a few more UBs but I don't think new Alolan Formes or Battle Facility are likely. I feel that they would've wanted to reveal the formes early to generate hype then include one in every update like with base sun and moon. The battle facility thing, well just see their stance on it. I do think some sort of gym facility is likely though.

I dont think tha gym thingy is a "facility" in the same meaning as lets say Frontier or even just Tree. More than likely its just another throwback aspect just like "nugget bridge" in SM or some sort of training place

Afterall you meet Ryuki in the middle of the room. You never meet important NPCs inside the battle facilities

You meet Ryuki, for the first time ever in USUM (thats why he introduces himsellf) inside of the "gym". In the middle of the room. That implies this isnt a battle facility, if anything its something like a battle dojo or some gym showcase

The cloud can be nothing at all, the yellow building is most likely that "Lt Surge gym" and the final one CAN be something but it also can be just a background for photo ckub

Also, on the Japanese website, there are two "Coming Soon," sections. Z-Moves, surfing, AFC, are in the "Game System," section and Ultra Space and Alola are covered in the "Story," section.

Obviously, something is going to be announced soon that is so big that it needs its own section on the Japanese website.

Dude, think about it. ORAS says the Battle Frontier will return. SM brings back Anabel to reaffirm the promise. Three years after ORAS, comes a 3rd version. Every 3rd version has BF or PWT except Crystal who introduced Battle Tower.

People really have lost hope since ORAS in this series...

That makes total sense!

Think about it guys, we have two Coming Soon sections on that JP website.

Events make sense to fill one section.

Can new Alola Forms or Mega Evolutions fill one of those sections? Nope, UBs are all under the "Pokemon," category. If there are either new AFs or MEs, they would be under that category.

Something BIG needs to fill one of those Coming Soon sections. Think, Battle Frontier wouldn't be part of the "Story." It would need its own section to describe the characters, facilities, and how the facilities work.

That is easy to answer. Core pairs sell 15-16m units. Remakes sell 12-13m units.

3rd versions sell 6-8m units. Casual players are uninterested in buying the same region twice 1-2 years after the core pair. Most of the people who play 3rd versions are veterans and competitive players.

That is why GF can put Battle Frontiers into 3rd versions. :)

Even if that cloud is hiding something then they wouldnt need a big island, bigger than Melemele even to have Frontier on it.

The size of this cloud doesnt indicate the size of the potential hidden island beneath it.

Besides it would be wierd to have like 5 or 7 new facilities AND the Tree AND battle royal

I can see them adding one extra fancy facility like in BW2 but not few ones
