I've just been replaying it now and it's perfect on so many levels.
Thinking about it in context Sun and Moon seams like a massive step back. What are /vp/'s thoughs on Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?

I love the originals but the remakes are pretty trash. The music was amazing in RSE but in ORAS they made amazing themes sound just kind of mediocre and bland. The gameplay is good and the story is fine but nobody really cares about the story in a Pokemon game.

The overworld is also quite ugly and the models look strange. I had the same issue with X/Y where all the overworld models have weird proportions and it makes them kind of look like midgets.
