I'm guessing it'll be something like Super Abilities.

Certain abilities can be enhanced by attaching an ability booster.

Intimidate+ lowers attack two stages
Frisk+ finds the opponent item and discards it
Rain Dish+ heals 1/8 HP per turn
etc.

Not really related, but how do you think the fights against these guys are going to play out? They presumably only use UBs, but I can't seem GF making kids battle a team of 3+ UBs even before the postgame. And the final bosses having only 2 pokémon would be fucking lame.
