>>33795771I keep trying to enjoy Platinum but I find it difficult to keep going. Not to bait but could you guys that like it explain that enjoyment in case I’m missing something? I’ve started Platinum at least 5 or 6 times but only finished it once due to:
>overall slowness of battles (this one is probably the main factor that hampers my enjoyment)>lots of HMs>a generation with the most baby Pokémon and new evolutions of old Pokémon (beating Johto last time I compared the two with 18% versus 27% of their respective Pokedexes).That said I do like a few things about Platinum and Gen IV
>Barry usually being one step ahead and builds a decent team both during and after the main game>The shape of Sinnoh’s map and progression through it>Some of the Poketch functions>Cynthia made for a good, non-themed Champion>the idea of an alpine, colder region is great, but I would have liked to see more bits of snow sprinkled throughout the map (not Hail conditions but those frosted trees and clumps of snow on the ground outside of the main snowy route and peak of Mt. Coronet)
