>>33800707Why not? It's extra work, but extra work is what most of the fun or cute features in the games were for. Battle frontier wasn't necessary. Walking pokemon isn't necessary. Pokemon contests and Z moves weren't necessary. But they're there because it's fun and different, and they'll get people to come back to the older games.
Following pokemon was fun in HG/SS where there wasn't much else for extra features besides the triathalon, and I wouldn't see it coming back in the future if it werent for the fact that each pokemon already has a modeled and animated 3D walk cycle.
