I'm not sure what "mechanics" he really has on his site that smogon testers would do. But the stuff that's in the data (you know, catch rate, shiny charm, base stats, etc.) come from Sciresm and that is credited.

Smogon can test all it wants, but when you're friends with the person who literally gets the data from the game, it's kinda pointless to follow whatever they're doing.

Getting the info from the data is far more reliable and efficient than whatever special snowflake stuff you're doing on smogon. For example, Dex Nav.

You know for sure he was one of the people who also got a hold of the ROM, bu he couldn't put out any info because it would blatantly tell everyone he pirated the games. He had to sit there and watch other people distribute the information because he's too autistic to do it anonymously.
