/vp/ loved XY, ORAS, and SM at launch, and only starting the hate once we all beat the game and was getting months older.
Anyone who actually thinks /vp/ as a whole actually hates USM is kidding themselves. It's shitposting. Just like most things on this board.
XY isn't perfect and has flaws, like every other pokemon game, but it's far from bad.
Oddly enough, the only game /vp/ doesn't like to shit on is BW2, which I find to be one of my least favorites.
