One month to go so what are you doing to hype or get in the mood?
Replaying older gens, Rewatching older seasons/movies, Breeding teams etc.

I'm probably gonna play through some Mario Sunshine to get in the Alola mood (And double as a way to get hype for Odyssey)
I'll probably have a marathon of the movies, Generations and Origins

The rest I'll come up with as I go along

Because they are hyped for the new release. What is wrong if someone wants to play Pokémon a bit more than usual?

I've been playing Pokemon Y recently and im close to finishing it. I might go back to SoulSilver i left few months ago around Clairs gym

But sadly not feeling much hype. Im happy about the Ultra Adventure but other than that the game still lacks any other good posst game activity - for now at least. Lets hope the'll reveal at least some good battlle facility

Nothing? Just going through life normally. Dragon's Dogma will occupy my time until Odyssey comes out. That and .hack will get me to USUM, which will in turn get me to Okami HD in December.

Im still wondering if i really want to buy Ultra Sun. I think i'll wait until the game is out to decide because so far nothing except the increase of wild Pokemon is making excited

I'm excited for the games as well but I don't feel the need to 'prepare' myself by replaying various games and having a movie marathon. It's not a major event it's just a game release.
