Bone clubs/bonemerangs. There aren't too many options for Pokémon with weapons. He'd fit in very well.

Chesnaught ((Playable.))

A grappler that uses trap setting and powerful defensive tools like Leech Seed, Spiny Shield, Seed Bomb, and Spikes to maintain high health and stage control that lures enemies in to his comfort zone before wailing on them with huge hits. He could even bring stranger moves like vine whip to grab an opponent from specific distances, or for follow up attacks!

I really like seeing the slow and methodical type of fighter that rely on understanding and conditioning their opponent and Chesnaught deserves to be throne a bone at this point, compared to Braixen and Greninja. (Not anything against either of them, it just hurts to see them passed up.)

Also I really like grapplers.

I like Aggron - it's a steel-plated dinosaur that looks like it was ripped straight out of a kaiju movie.

Aggron would be a tank; slow, but uses armor and durability to get up close. If Aggron actually gets in, it would take a lot to make it back off. Obviously its Synergy Burst form would be Mega Aggron.

heres a list of fighters that I think could be interesting. not sure about playstyles though

Heracross- MAYBE a power character
Eelectross- thought it would be fun to play as
Vespiquen- would be interesting to see how it play as
Silvally- more gen 7 pandering, could be fun
Tapu-Koko- speed propably
Staraptor- could be power
Hawlucha- speed
Alolan Sandslash- more pandering and there arent many ice types in pokken
Froslass- speedy freezer

I just imagiend Ariados or Galvantula being playable, dashing all over the stage spitting web traps and/or poison/electrical bombs, then getting up close with bite moves and such

Maybe if they did something really weird like make it move so slow you may as well stand still, but its burst attack is long-range and it has decent long-range moves.

It would work much better as support though

Golisopod could have a lot of fun. First Impression could be an attack that jumps a long way forward, but doesn't hit until the end of the jump, so it doesn't work at close range. Emergency Exit could be woven into it too, with bouncing away from the enemy at the end of combos

If Latios gets to be support, then let Latias be playable. Would hover around firing off beams and shit, when up close could use Dragon Claw and such. Not sure if speed type or power.
