Is there any reason to be hyped for USM aside from the new Ultra Beasts which you can just use in Showdown anyways?

The PWT is loved by tons and tons of fans, both in and out of /vp/. Even if you don't like it, you can see why it has a massive appeal to fans. And this being the 20th anniversary gen would have been the perfect time to bring it back.

Don't give up on new Alolan forms or an expansive postgame facility just yet. We still have over a month and a half left, and while it's very easy to expect GF to not make any new Alolan forms, it's also easy to imagine them withholding reveals until the last minute. Both are dumb decisions, but hopefully the more beneficial of the two ends up being true.
If I recall, there was info for ORAS that was withheld until 2 weeks before release?
