Personally, I play VGC. I just have more fun with it, although I will admit I haven't played competitive Pokemon in a while it's my preferred format. Main reason is because my favorite Pokemon, Raichu, is much more usable in VGC than it is in Smogon. That and it's much quicker and fast paced. I used to play Smogon back in Gen 5 but after XY came out I swapped.
Which do you prefer and why? Again please keep things civil, I think we can learn a lot from each other about each meta game.
